I have been a lazy blogger. I guess this is due to my busy schedule. I know I am not working and should be bumming but there is so much to do. I spend many days catching up on my reading, my favourite writer for the moment is Malcolm Gladwell. He writes so well, I can't put down his books. Now, I am a proud owner of most of his books.
If I am not reading, I will be out shopping with mum or meeting some friends for lunch or hanging with my bro who is having his holidays. I will try to play tennis twice a week with dad and bro. Even though everyday seems like Sunday to me, I love weekends. Friday nights are spent hanging out with his friends or mine. Sat nights are for dating, watching movies, theatre, food & wine. Sundays are lazy family days.
I spend most of the weekdays catching up on some courses and applying for jobs. The thing about changing career with an MBA is that you are neither here nor there. For some entry level jobs, you are seen as overqualified. For some mid level jobs, you lack the experience. I have been to interviews here and there and have been offered a position I would like to pursue. I plan to start work in July as I want to spend some time with my family travelling this June. This is the only month my Dad can get away from work and I am looking forward to our family trip. =)
Hello there,
ReplyDeleteStumble upon your blog while googling MBS MBA at Linked In. I am about to start my MBA in two weeks time... and am actually looking into the same path you travelled. Finance, strategy and a term of exchange studies. Any tips and hints would be much much much appreciated. Especially what clubs etc you think is great.. and the hidden secrets of MBS MBA :)
Cheers!
